- My Erdös
number is 2: Paul
Erdös <-->
Brendan McKay
<--> DBN. My Bacon
number is 3 (proof),
and hence my Erdös-Bacon
number is 5, better than Richard
Feynman's and Natalie Portman's.
- Wikipedia knows
about me! (I did not start or edit that entry, and I have no intention of
ever touching it).
- I'm a movie star! Find me on the IMDb.
- My grandfather Abraham Regelson (1896-1981) is on the web! English, Hebrew
(not the same).
- My Math
157 student Neo Wang reports that my Chinese name on the web is
"Deluo Banatan":

- My name appeared in the Seattle
Post-Intelligencer!
(And also in/on
ABC
(2),
Slate,
The
Augusta Chronicle,
The Daily Ardmoreite,
SouthCoast Today)
- An article I
co-authored (with Maya
Bar-Hillel and Brendan
McKay) was translated to the Italian!
- Some (otherwise intelligent) people think my opinion, a
response to theirs,
is worth posting on the Web.
- An article I wrote inspired
an article
written in Swedish!
- Somebody in a faraway
country faked a picture of me!
(for a genuine picture of him, click here.)
(The caption, prepared by the same somebody, reads: "The rabbi Professor
Dror Bar Natan". My last name
is spelled with a hyphen, I am not a rabbi, and at the time, I wasn't a
professor.
- Somebody I
didn't bribe spent a whole column in an article in the Notices of the American Mathematical Society describing
something I did! See theorems 6 and
7 of Thomas'
paper on the four color theorem in volume 45,
number 7.
Sadly, the following picture never appeared in print:

- A picture of me appeared in the Israeli daily Haaretz!
(The caption reads: "Children on Yom Kippur. 48 children injured in
bicycling accidents visited the Tel-Aviv medical center, five times the
daily average". I am not a child, I was not riding a bicycle, the
picture was taken in Jerusalem and not in Tel-Aviv, and I wasn't injured in
any way.)
- I was photographed
in Woodstock
'94. (It was awful).
