Mat223 - L5201 - Fall 2020

Lectures take place online via zoom, Tuesday 6-8 pm EST and Thursday 6-7 pm EST. My office hours are for one hour after class on Tuesday and one hour before class on Thursday, but note that you can also attend other instructors' office hours.

We are following Jason Siefken's course design, which uses an active learning approach. In particular, lectures are given following the 'Think-Pair-Share' format.

The main lecture and office hours zoom links, pre-recorded videos, and all other course materials, are available to registered students on the University of Toronto Quercus page for this course.

Unfortunately, due to space constraints, I can not make the zoom link publicly available, but if you would like to audit the course and are not officially registered, please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to accomodate you.

The course textbook is freely available here .

The slides from the final lecture, which give a more conceptual overview of the course, are here.
