Final Exam review will take place on April
23, 2-4pm in BA6183.
- The Final Exam will take place on
Friday, April 25, 9:00 - 12:00 in BA 2165. It will
cover the material from lectures and homework. This
corresponds to the following sections from the book:
- 1.1-1.5, 2.1-2.3, 3.1-3.2, 4.1-4.5, 5.1-5.3, 5.6,
6.1, 6.2, 6.4, 6.5 (propositions 6.5.1 and 6.5.3 only),
7.1-7.4, 8.1-8.2, 9.1-9.2, 10.1-10.2
- To help you prepare for the final I
also recommend you do the following problems from the book
on the material from the last week of classes (you do not
need to write them up or turn them in):
- 9.1.1, 9.1.3, 9.2.1, 9.2.3,
9.2.5, 10.1.2, 10.2.1, 10.2.5
- Rules for the Final: No aids allowed. Unless
otherwise indicated you can use without proof results
from the text and the lectures (but not from
homework).
