Term Test - 30%
Final Exam - 45%

Extra credit - 3%

The course letter grade will be calculated as follows

Homework assignments will be posted every Tuesday after the lecture. It will be due the following Tuesday at the lecture.
NO late homework will be accepted.
Extra credit can be earned by submitting solutions to extra credit homework problems and by spotting mistakes during lectures
Important: There will be no make up midterms! If you have a valid reason to miss the term test, the corresponding portion of the Final exam will count as your term test grade.

Announcements

I will hold a review session on Friday, May 4 from 5-7pm in BA 6183.
The Final Exam will take place on Monday, May 7 from 2-5pm in KRUGER. Please come at least 5 minutes in advance.
Rules for the final: No aids allowed.
The Final Exam will cover the following material:

Material from the lecture notes: Separable equations, 1st order linear equations, exact equations, variation of parameter.
Sections 2.1-2.7, 3.1-3.4, 4.1, 6.1, 6.3, 6.4, 17.1-17.4, 8.1-8.4, 9.2 from the book.
Only the material covered in class or homework problems will appear on the exam.
I suggest you do the problems #4, 6 from Chapter 9 to help you prepare to questions on Liapunov functions.

I will not have regular office hours in the next three weeks but I will be available by appointment.
