The idea for this blog is partially inspired by my father, Dror Bar-Natan, and partially from discussions with my old roommate, Jesse Frohlich. The main idea is as follows:
I am funded predominantly through the university, who is, in turn, funded by YOUR tax dollars. That's right. You, dear reader, are paying a small portion of YOUR hard-earned income for me to sit around and... well... do what? As a thief of your taxes, I believe that you deserve to know what you are getting, and what I am doing. I believe that you deserve to be able to hold me accountable.
