Ahmed Ellithy

I am a postdoctoral fellow in mathematics at Uppsala University. My research lies in geometric analysis and mathematical relativity, especially Bartnik’s quasi-local mass, static and stationary vacuum extensions, positive mass theorems, Penrose-type inequalities, and the geometry of asymptotically flat and asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds.

I completed my PhD in 2025 at the University of Toronto, under the supervision of Spyros Alexakis. My dissertation focused on the Bartnik static extension conjecture and can be found here.
