Ahmed Ellithy

Since January 2025, I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Mathematics at Uppsala University working with Anna Sakovich. My research lies in geometric analysis, general relativity, and differential geometry.

I completed my PhD in 2025 at the University of Toronto, under the supervision of Spyros Alexakis. My dissertation focused on the Bartnik static extension conjecture and can be found here.

My research interests include Bartnik's definition of quasi-local mass, static and stationary vacuum extensions, and the positive mass theorem in asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds.
