Required reading. The appendix to Spivak's chapter 19, and Spivak's Chapter 20 up to the end of the proof of Theorem 2.

To be handed in. From the appendix to Spivak's Chapter 19: problems 3 and 12b. From Chapter 20, problems 1 (parts 2, 4, 8, 10) and 8.

In class review problem(s) (to be solved in class on Tuesday March 8). Chapter 20 problem 1vi: Find the degree $ n$ Taylor polynomial of $ \log x$ around $ x=2$.

Recommended for extra practice. From the appendix to Spivak's Chapter 19: problems 4 and 12a. From Chapter 20, problems 1 (odd parts) and 9.
