MAT 007 I News, Wreckreational Math

MAT 007 I News is a recreational mathematical newsletter edited by undergraduate mathematicians of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Toronto. 007 News is printed bioccasionally (twice annually) and is affiliated with the University of Toronto Student Chapter of the Mathematical Association of America.

Some of the articles from 007 News have appeared in Math Horizons, the student journal of the Mathematical Association of America. Past contributors include Martin Gardner, most noted for his Mathematical Recreations articles from Scientific American.

Free copies are distributed to all students studying mathematics at the University of Toronto and to chairs of math departments of most universities and colleges in North America. (However, we have received several requests from tables as well.)

What happened to our latest issue? Volume 11 Number 1, with a release date of Monday April 27, will be available to members of the Department of Mathematics on Tuesday April 21. To our out-of-town subscribers, we will ship Volume 11 sometime during the summer.

Starting with Volume 11 Number 1, 007 News will now be available online! Please watch this space as we make our newsletter accessible on the web for the very first time!
