The Textbook for this course: "Introduction to Linear Optimization" by Dimitris Bertsimas and John Tsitsikils. Athena Scientific. Should be available at the UT bookstore.

Course Syllabus (approximate):

Introduction to Linear Optimization : Chapters 1-4.
Supplementary material from lectures.

The Course Grade will be calculated as follows:

3 Quizzes - 5%
3 Problem sets - 15%
Term Test - 30%
Final Exam - 50%

Important: There will be no make up term test! If you have a valid reason for missing the test, your final exam weight will be increased to include the weight of the term test.

Exam dates (tentative):

Term Test: Fri, Oct 20, 11am-1pm.

Final Exam: TBA
