September 1st NSA Ratings will be used to assign players to four divisions: A (1700+), B (1400-1699), C (1100-1399) and D (0-1099). Players within 100 points of the next higher division may play in that division at the director's discretion. Pairings in each division will be modified Swiss, based on penultimate round results.
No less than 56% of the entry fee will be returned in prizes, with no less than 30% going to the winner of each division. Entry fee includes snacks and coffee on Saturday, lunch and coffee on Sunday.
The tournament will be co-directed by John Chew, Lisa Deift and Lisa Kessler.
Saturday, September 23rd, 2000: seven games starting at 9:15 A.M.
Sunday, September 24th, 2000: five games starting at 9:00 A.M.
