On the Final Exam

Our final exam will take place on Thursday April 28, from 9AM until 12PM (3 hours), at BN 2S, which is the large gymnasium, north end, Benson Building, 320 Huron Street (south of Harbord Street), second floor.

The material is every problem that could have appeared in any of the quizzes, or that did appear in any of the quizzes. This includes all the problems in all of the handouts (except those marked as "not for marks"), all the problems that actually appeared in quizzes, and all the problems in the sections that were assigned for reading. The form will more-or-less be "choose 8 out of 11". Last years' final is available at http://drorbn.net/AcademicPensieve/Classes/15-475-ProblemSolving/Final.pdf.

Exam Preparation. Very simply, you should solve everything, and the best for you is if you manage to form study groups to do it together. I will continue holding my normal office hours throughout the examination period until the day of the final (that is, on Wednesdays 10:30-11:30). I will hold further office hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of the week of the final, April 25-27, from 3PM until 5PM each day. My office remains at the Bahen building, room 6178. Our TA Ian Greig will hold additional office hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of the week of the final, April 25-27, from 1PM until 3PM each day, at the Math Lounge (the roundish room on the 6th floor of the Bahen building). Before coming to any of the office hours you are advised to check this web page for possible last-minute changes.

Good Luck!
