Lectures. Maybe you could not enrol in the lecture section you wanted. As long as you are enrolled in the course, we do not mind if you attend a different lecture section, as long as there are seats available in the class.
Tutorials. You need to enrol in a tutorial section. See this page and follow the instructions to join a tutorial on portal. Notice that it will not be updated on ACORN, and it does not matter what ACORN says. Please attend only the tutorial section you are enrolled in, according to portal.
Link to the course website. All the important information is there. There are lots of resources (including lecture notes, lecture videos, an online forum, and lots of office hours for help). In particular, read the course outline carefully.
Office hours. You are welcome to visit the office hours of any instructor and any TA in the course. You do not have to visit only yours. Take advantage of that.
Videos. We are inverting the classroom. We ask you to watch some short videos before each lecture. They cover the basics, so that we can spend class time working on more interesting problems. Your instructor will tell you which videos to watch.
Problem Sets have to be submitted online. Each student receives an email with an individual link for online submission for each problem set. If you do not have yours, contact the coordinator Alfonso Gracia-Saz at "alfonso (at) math (dot) toronto (dot) edu".
Missed problem sets. You may have missed the first problem set or the first two problem sets. You should still work on the problems to come up to speed, but we cannot give you an extension or make-up for it. However, notice that we only count the best 8 out of 10 problem sets for each student, so this won't affect your grade.
Term tests. Please mark your calendar for the term tests for the course. The first one is coming soon.
