SYMPLECTIC GEOMETRY SEMINAR -- Quiver varieties and
representations of affine gl(n).
Anthony Licata
Yale University
The quiver varieties of Nakajima provide a rich setting for
geometric constructions of Lie algebra representations. We will discuss
the role of various quiver varieties in the construction of vertex
representations of affine type A, focusing in particular on geometric
constructions of the Fock Space. We will discuss the relationship
between these constructions and Nakajima's original constructions, and
also geometric possibilities suggested by the corresponding
representation theory.
