Abstract: We study the category of exact Courant algebroids underlying Hitchin's generalized geometry. As a consequence, we obtain a new equivariant cohomology for certain generalized group action, involing the twisting by an \emph{ordinary} closed $3$-form. This is joint work with Bernardo Uribe.
