Teaching
I am currently teaching one of the lecture sections for MAT233H1S Linear algebra at the University of Toronto. My section includes approximately two hundred students learning introductory linear algebra, progressing from solving linear systems of equations and progressing through to matrix algebra, vector spaces and linear transformations.
In the summer of 2011 I taught and co-ordinated MAT301H1Y Groups and symmetry, a class of approximately forty students learning introductory group theory. The class began with the definition of a group and their basic properties and progressed to the fundamental theorem of finite abelian groups and the Sylow theorems.
