Large deviations for the symmetric simple exclusion process in dimensions $d\ge 3$

Propagation of chaos appears as a law of large numbers for the rescaled position of tagged particles in an interacting particle system. We study the large deviations from this limit in the case of the symmetric simple exclusion process in dimensions 3 and larger. The rate function involves the process level entropy with respect to an appropriate inhomogeneous diffusion process.
