Tournament of Towns and Math. Kangaroo at Toronto
Tournament of Towns: Mission

Table of Contents: How to enter the Tournament:

The Tournament is open to all towns anywhere in the world. If in a town there is either an education organization (university, institute, school, etc.) which would like to organize the Tournament in the town, or a group of leaders or even a single teacher who can act as a town committee, it is quite sufficient for the town's participation in the Tournament.

There is a fee for participating in the Tournament. The annual fee is USD 50 per city, plus an additional USD 3N where N is the same parameter used to determine the town score. However many towns, such as those from the former Eastern block, cannot afford to pay for their participation. The Central Committee will try to arrange for support of such towns by sponsors. For instance, the participation of Bulgarian town Ruse is paid for by the Australian Mathematics Foundation.
