**Week 1:** Introduction. Systems of linear equations

**Week 2:** More reduction. Vectors and orthogonality. See 1.3 and TopHat chapter on "Geometry of Vectors" or the course notes
**Week 3:** Span, homogeneous systems, matrix-vector multiplication and linear independence. See 1.3, 1.4.,1.5.
**Week 4:** Homogeneous systems, linear independence, and a bit of transformations. See 1.5, 1.7, 1.8.
**Week 5:** More transformations and matrices. See 1.8, 1.9, 2.1.
**Week 6:** Matrix multiplication and matrix inversion. See 2.1, 2.2, 2.3.
**Week 7:** Inverse matrix theorem, LU factorization. Introduction to subspaces. See 2.3, 2.5, 2.8.
**Week 8:** Subspaces, bases, rank, dimension. See 2.8, 2.9 and notes on these topics
**Week 9:** Rank, rank, and rank
**Week 10:** The fundamental theorem of linear algebra. Determinants and eigenstuff. See the notes and 3.1.
**Week 11:** Determinants, eigenproblems, diagonalization. See Ch 3.1, 3.2, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3
**Week 12:** Diagonalization. Final thoughts. See Ch. 5.1, 5.2, 5.3
