Your first quiz will be held in your tutorial on Tuesday January 22 or Wednesday January 23. It will cover sections 8.1, 8.2, and 9.1. You are allowed to use one of the following three calculators: Casio 260, Sharp 520, and Texas Instruments 30. No cell phones or PDAs (palm pilots and their ilk) will be allowed.

Your second quiz will be held in your tutorial on Tuesday February 5 or Wednesday February 6. It will cover sections 9.3, 9.4, 9.5, and 9.6. You are allowed to use one of the following three calculators: Casio 260, Sharp 520, and Texas Instruments 30. No cell phones or PDAs (palm pilots and their ilk) will be allowed.

Your first term test will be held on Tuesday March 5 or Wednesday March 6. The test will cover all the material since the beginning of the semester, with an emphasis on the stuff since the most recent quiz. (Emphasis on sections 9.7, 9.8, 10.1-10.4, 12.9, and 12.10.) This brings us to the hairy question of where you go to take your exam. Read very carefully!

The final quiz of the year will be held in your recitation section on Tuesday March 26 or Wednesday March 27. It will cover sections 11.3, 11.4, 11.5, and 11.6.

There will be a review session on Tuesday April 23 to help you prepare for your final exam. It will be held in GB 119 from 10 am to noon.

The final exam will be on Friday April 26, 2:00 - 4:30 pm.
