INFORMATION
NOTE:
You
must write your Quizzes in your official Tutorial, as indicated on the MAT135Y
Website. If you are not sure about your official Tutorial section, please click
Tutorial List.
Anyone arriving at the tutorial room later than 15 minutes past the hour will
not be allowed to write the Quiz. Calculators are NOT allowed in Quizzes,
Term-tests and the Final Exam.
YOU ARE
NOT ALLOWED TO SKIP YOUR TUTORIAL AND QUIZ IN ORDER TO WRITE ANOTHER TEST
(WHETHER IT IS THE REGULAR SITTING
OR AN EARLY SITTING)! A REGULARLY SCHEDULED CLASS (INCLUDING A LAB OR TUTORIAL)
HAS ABSOLUTE PRIORITY OVER ANY OTHER TEST. YOUR OTHER INSTRUCTOR IS REQUIRED TO
MAKE SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOU (FOR EXAMPLE, LETTING YOU WRITE A MAKE-UP
TEST) SO THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO MISS ANOTHER CLASS (INCLUDING A TUTORIAL), AS
PER UNIVERSITY REGULATIONS.
Quiz

to be written the week of October 5, will be on Chapter 1 and Appendix D.
Note that Inverse
Trigonometric Functions will not be on Quiz 1.

to be written the week of October 13, will be on Sections 2.2, 2.3, 2.5 and
2.6.
Note that students in a
Monday Tutorial do not have to write Quiz 2 (because of the Thanksgiving
holiday). For these Monday students, only the best 10 out of 13 Quizzes will
count.
