The Textbook for this course: "A Readable Introduction to Real Mathematics" by Daniel, David and Peter Rosenthal. Springer. 2014. Availlable at UT library. Should be availlable at the UT bookstore.
Solutions to selected exercises in the textbook can be found here.

Course Syllabus (approximate):

A Readable Introduction to Real Mathematics: Chapters 1-10, 12.
Supplementary material from lectures.

The Course Grade will be calculated as follows:

3 Quizzes - 2% each
2 Term Tests - 25% each
Final Exam - 44%

Homework will be assigned every two weeks. The homework will include suggested problems for practice and is not to be handed in. The homework problems will be discussed in tutorials and will form the basis for the quizzes. There will be 3 quizzes (15-20 minutes each) held during tutorials which will include a couple of short questions. Quizzes are primarily meant as a means to encourage you to keep up with the material.
Important: There will be no make up term tests! If you have a valid reason for missing a term test, the average of your other exams (final and other term test) will count as your missed test grade.

Exam dates:

Term Tests: Wed, Oct 19, 6:15-7:45pm and Wed, Nov 16, 6:15-7:45pm.
Final Exam: Thu, Dec 15, 7-10pm.
