Base recipe for scones (or recipe for plain scones).
Ingredients
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 tbsp of sugar
2/3 tbsp of salt
1 tbsp of baking powder
1/2 cup of heavy cream
2 eggs
1/4 cup cold unsalted butter in 1cm cubes
Directions
Heat oven to 400 F.
Mix all ingredients together.
Cut into 2 inch squares and place on baking sheet.
Put in oven for 20 minutes.
