I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the department of Mathematics of the University of Toronto. I was previously at the Institute of Geometry, Algebra and Topology of the EPFL, the department of Mathematics of the University of Geneva and a Swiss National Science Foundation postdoc in Madrid.
My work is in the area of low dimensional geometry and topology and in particular on
Riemann surfaces, Hyperbolic Geometry, and Teichmüller and Moduli Spaces. Some of my work is related to the study of systoles on surfaces.
From the 20th to the 24th of July, I was in Connecticut.
In November 2008 I travelled to the US and in particular I visited Brown University and the University of Michigan. I was a general member of the MSRI program Teichmüller theory and Kleinian groups and visited MSRI in November 2007.

In 2008/2009, I co-organized (at the EPFL) the Geometry and Ergodic Theory Seminar with Nicolas Monod. In 2007/2008, I organized the Geometry Seminar (for the winter semester the seminar was co-organized with Stéphane Félix), and in spring 2007 I co-organized (in Geneva) a seminar on Teichmüller space, the curve complex, and related topics with Florent Balacheff.
