It is a temporary page (until September 18, 2019) for students who are not enrolled in this class (but want to enrol). You can browse pages on Quercus:
- Access to Syllabus ► Course outlines -- World
- Access to all other materials -- University (you need to be logged) until September 18, 2019
Enrolment issues
-
Instructors cannot help you to get into class. Furthermore, LEC 0101, LEC 0201 and LEC 5101 are full (188, 196 and 196 respectively) but there is a space in LEC 5201 because it was moved to a larger room and expanded
- Moreover, all sections are at their rooms capacities and there are significant waiting lists.
- All sections could be expanded only if moved to larger rooms. I consider this as highly improbable. There are larger rooms available but blackboards there are too small for such lass as our.
- If you really want to take this class now, I suggest not to be picky and choose whatever Lecture Section is available. Also, please choose a Tutorial section. Remember that LEC 5201 conflicts with TUT 5101/5102, so if you are in LEC 5201, you should not be in TUT 5101/5102.
- Chances are that later (it is difficult to say when, but NET September 19 for sure) I will be able to help you to adjust your Lecture and Tutorial sections (usually 25%--33% of students drop this class, and if some of them drop it NLT September 18, there will be no financial penalty for them). Starting from September 19 you will not be able to use ACORN to change your sections––and I will manage lecture and tutorial sections.
- You just enrolled into the class on ACORN but cannot access on Quercus? –– Just wait. Quercus is updated from ROSIN almost every night (around 4 a.m.) but Saturday-to-Sunday night is skipped and sometimes (rarely) even regular nights are also skipped. Usually this happens (according to technical support) when ROSI is experiencing technical problems. Unfortunately, it happens lately.
- ROSI = Repository of Student Information is a main system.
- ACORN = Accessible Campus Online Resource Network is a student's frontend of ROSI.
