About home assignments
- There will be ≈10 home assignments;
- Total contribution to the Term Mark 20%;
- Two worst assignments (included those you did not submit and got 0) will be dropped;
- So, if there will be 10 assignments, only 8 will be counted and each would contribute 2.5 to the Term Mark;
- Unless specified deadline in the end of the Monday class (10 a.m. or 9 p.m.);
- Students from the Morning Section can drop their home assignment in the end of the Night Section (9 p.m. sharp). Students are required to wait either break or the end of the class.
- Home assignments should be stappled. No clips, sheet-protectors, folding or other poor-man staples, please!
- In the top right corner of Page 1 please write
- APM 346 2012 (Fall)
- Home assignment 1 (etc)
- Your home section (where you'll pick up a home assignment)
- your name as on BlackBoard/ROSI
- Student ID
- Home assignments should be either hand-written or typed on white letter-size sheets of papers (lining is allowed)
- Hand-writing should be legible; if pen, it must be either black or blue (no red, green, or light-blue); if pencil then black and dark enough. In any case letters must be large enough to be read easily.
- If typed, math should be formatted properly--you really need to know what you are doing.
- Food and drink, even your favorites, do not enhance any of your submitted!
- If you have questions about grading your paper, ask first TA who graded it; only then (if still needed) talk to instructor.
