Quantum cohomology of generalized flag manifolds


Abstract: We will discuss two essential topics concerning the ``quantum Schubert calculus" for the manifold $Fl_n$ of all flags in $C^n$ and its generalization $G/B$, where $G$ is a complex semisimple Lie group and $B$ a Borel subgroup: find a presentation of the quantum cohomology ring in terms of generators and relations and then find a description of the Schubert cohomology classes in this presentation.
