A Brief Introduction to What I Do.
A Brief Introduction to What I Do.
I will describe a rather bizarre construction of a knot
invariant and then tell you why it's interesting:
1. It is universal within a certain fine class of invariants.
2. It relates to Quantum Field theory, to Lie algebras and to
Drinfel'd's theory of quasi triangular quasi Hopf algebras.
