A Brief Introduction to What I Do.

A Brief Introduction to What I Do. I will describe a rather bizarre construction of a knot invariant and then tell you why it's interesting: 1. It is universal within a certain fine class of invariants. 2. It relates to Quantum Field theory, to Lie algebras and to Drinfel'd's theory of quasi triangular quasi Hopf algebras. See more at http://www.math.toronto.edu/~drorbn/Talks/UCB-000420/ I remind that I will be notified about this talk only about an hour before its beginning, and hence it will be informal and I may get some
