Subject: Minipods after round 17
Okay, there's only one round left, and any suspense you care to drum up has to come from the race for second, since Jim walked away with first ages ago. The standings after round seventeen are as follows for the top six:
1 Jim 14 no spread available, but like it matters... 2 Albert 11 +625 3 John 10 +315 4 Zev 10 -3 5 Mike 9 +268 6 Andrew 9 +175In the final round, Albert will play John. If John wants to tie for second, he has to win by 155.
Zev, who will be playing Mike, also needs John to win - but Zev himself must beat Mike by 318 MORE than whatever John's spread is in this game.
Assuming that Dave remembers to call me in the post-tournament frenzy, the final results will be posted as soon as they are available. Otherwise, I think it's safe to say that John will post the final tally as soon as he's able.
