My guess is that running a consensus game on this mailing list won't be as much work as doing so IRL, mainly because there won't be any need to edit player contributions. I volunteer therefore to run one trial game, at a rate of one move per week. This game will use the TWL96 lexicon, I would suggest that other games involving SOWPODS or OSW be conducted on the sowpods or uk-scrabble mailing lists.
I will draw tiles and play the opponent, with extensive help from Maven. I would appreciate private help from any expert players who are willing to examine the other rack without letting it affect their suggestions for cgp's play.
Voting deadline will be midnight EST Saturday, and the initial turn will therefore have only a half week of discussion. Post your votes to CGP if they're accompanied by useful analysis, or e-mail them to me privately otherwise. Don't forget to include your current NSA rating (estimated if you don't have one), if your rating is in the n-hundreds, you'll get n**2 votes.
