First, it needs to be said that the Consensus Game is a forum for discussing STRATEGY, not for finding out who has better word knowledge or who can see the high-scoring plays more readily. Therefore, no one should have any scruples about voting for a play that they would never find at the board. I think one should, however, rely on one's own independent judgment of the strategy issues involved -- not vote for a play just because Maven or Tyler thinks it's best or because the World Champion voted for it. (Of course, this doesn't mean you can't read other people's opinions and take into consideration the arguments they offer, before making your own decision.)

I myself, in this case, was unable to see any playable bingos, so I turned to my Franklin and found SULFONIC, CULLIONS, COUSINLY, UNSOCIAL, COUNCILS, etc.

My vote is for COUSINLy 3F (72). I reject SULFONiC 2G because of the U beside the TWS. I reject COCOUNSEL 5c because of the S hook. And I prefer COUSINLY to CULLIONS because I'd rather give opp an L and Y to play through than an N and S.

P.S. Does anyone else have the same reservations I do about allowing CGP members to cast proxy votes?
